What will you do?
As Team Lead Procurement, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of eight Operational Buyers. Together, you ensure that all operational purchasing activities run smoothly and that set targets are met.
As a Team Lead, you create a pleasant and open working environment where employees feel heard and supported. You monitor the daily progress of your team and make adjustments where necessary. In case of escalations or complex issues, you are the point of contact and step in to resolve matters. You set clear objectives and monitor performance through KPIs and SLAs. Additionally, you regularly consult with other departments within the organization to discuss progress and resolve bottlenecks.
Moreover, you play a crucial role in implementing process improvements. Initiative and a fresh perspective are highly valued in this role. Designing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and further professionalizing the procurement department are also part of your responsibilities.
What we like to see in you
- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics Management, Commercial Economics, (Technical) Business Administration, or another related field;
- Leadership experience in a similar role, such as Team Lead, Coordinator, etc.;
- Affinity with procurement;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written;
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
