What will you do?
As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you coordinate logistics, work with carriers, suppliers and customers, and further optimize the supply chain. You keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly, while building stable processes for growth. Your tasks include:
- Coordinating orders and transports, aligning with shipping lines, customers and suppliers;
- Ensuring alignment between sales, available inventory and purchasing forecasts;
- Building long-term relationships with customers and suppliers by understanding their needs and resolving issues quickly;
- Preparing work instructions, sales performance overviews and documentation for management;
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements, while staying informed about market trends.
What we like to see in you
- A completed bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, (Industrial) Engineering & Management or a similar field is a plus;
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in a comparable logistics and/or supply chain role;
- Experience in fresh produce is an advantage;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Availability of 38 hours per week.
