What will you do?

As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you coordinate logistics, work with carriers, suppliers and customers, and further optimize the supply chain. You keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly, while building stable processes for growth. Your tasks include:

  • Coordinating orders and transports, aligning with shipping lines, customers and suppliers;
  • Ensuring alignment between sales, available inventory and purchasing forecasts;
  • Building long-term relationships with customers and suppliers by understanding their needs and resolving issues quickly;
  • Preparing work instructions, sales performance overviews and documentation for management;
  • Identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements, while staying informed about market trends.

What we like to see in you

You are proactive, flexible and resilient under pressure, switching easily between operational work and strategic initiatives. You look with a fresh perspective at how things are done and use your knowledge and experience to lift processes to a higher level. You also have:
  • A completed bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, (Industrial) Engineering & Management or a similar field is a plus;
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a comparable logistics and/or supply chain role;
  • Experience in fresh produce is an advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Availability of 38 hours per week.
